Short audio or video recordings may also help a physician understand what parents see or hear. Record them safely and respectfully. These recordings cannot replace formal testing, but they may show a pattern that did not occur during the study.

After major medical concerns have been addressed, some children may benefit from an evaluation of breathing habits, oral function, tongue posture, and jaw development.
